Updates and Important Dates

I wanted to make sure you all have some important dates on the calendar and figured a little life update wouldn't hurt.

I officially passed all of my classes last semester! There's a semester delay so you don't have to call me Master Berger until graduation at the end of spring (see important dates below for conflicts). I'm enjoying getting plenty of sleep, some adventurous cooking, joined a gym, and started training for a mini marathon. The Bergers convened on Louisville this weekend - my sister's likely going to start working for Dow Chemical in Carrolton, KY this summer and is looking for an apartment in Louisville.

There are some important events coming up, and I'm always looking for an excuse to see you all.

Thunder Over Louisville - April 16 - the largest fireworks show in North America is paired with an air show in downtown Louisville to celebrate Derby season. Two years ago I got drunk, lost my group, and managed to navigate 12 miles home by unknown bus and foot. This year, we're looking at having a pre-party Friday night and getting a group together to spend the day/night downtown

Derby Fest Marathon - April 30 - if anyone's interested in running the full or mini Louisville marathon, we've got a big group going. I can get you 10% off admission and would be happy to host for the weekend.

The Kentucky Derby - May 7 - Sadly this year, the OSU drunk bus has disbanded. Sadder yet, I graduate Sunday May 8 in Atlanta. My family will be coming down to tailgate Derby, and you're welcome to join, but we will be going to bed early to begin driving at 3am...

South 40 - June 25 - no description needed (did you see the map). I have a Saturday wedding, with the reception conveniently at Ole Zimm's, and I've been excused to drink with friends at my leisure through the weekend. And thanks to my crazy cousin hiring line dancers for last years family reunion the day after South 40, Mom's given us permission to take a break this year and enjoy Ole Zimm's brunch.

Reasons why I need you:
1. I have not been back to BAR since Steve got me kicked out
2. I don't remember the last time I played BOOM (not just due to drinking, maybe since 75th...)
3. I got 5 more packs of mustaches for Christmas
4. My best recent partying has been with UF and UofM alums
5. Someone said "giggles" at work the other day and I froze for a second
