Mike's Memorial Service

Hi Stater Grads,

I found out this week that Mike's Memorial Service will be on Friday, October 8 at 4:00pm. Below is information that was in OSU Today:

Campus memorial service for J. Michael Dunn Oct. 8
A campus memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday (10/8) for J. Michael Dunn, director of Recreational Sports Learning and former director of the Department of Recreational Sports, who died Friday (7/23) after a short illness. More details will be shared nearer the date. Private family services will be held in Indiana in coming weeks.

I will be sure to post more information as details are set. It will most likely be in the Ohio Union. Mike never wanted the RPAC to become an event space, and if it were up to him, the gyms would have been used for Open Gym 24/7. Tracy thought it appropriate to have the service out of the RPAC to honor this request and to give the Rec Sports staff a chance to rememebr him rather than to plan to event.
